Budweiser Budvar - Government Beer
Day 1 in Prague. And I think I left my fucking camera at home. Will do more thorough search of the bags tomorrow after my work is done and my jetlag under control.
From the hotel minibar: Real authentic Budweiser Budvar. Known in North America as "Czechvar" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bud%C4%9Bjovick%C3%BD_Budvar - The ORIGINAL king of beers. I had no idea Czech Republic hadn't switched to Euros, so imagine Sheena's heart attack on the spot when the driver showed her the figure of 650 to get from airport to hotel. (Divide by 15.. divide by 15.. divide by 15.)
So ironical that only last week was the pseudo-ripped-off wannabe AMERICAN Budweiser sold off to a European conglomerate, registering rage and fist shaking across frat houses and broken in LaZeeBoys across the USA.
Had 4 hour connection in Zurich on Swiss Air so lunch today was the random microscopic Toblerones, fucking goddamn cheese sandwiches, some pasta baked with potato and cheese topped off with gummi bears from the Senator Lounge 'buffet'.
Apparently Prague has now surpassed Ibiza as the Bachelor Party capital of Europe. Airport cafe prides itself on a 1500 drink menu. Lots of wild funky crystal shops around the hotel. Probably bring home something ridiculously fragile.

Sheena - Czech Buddvar is much better than the crap they sell here. If you buy Bohemian crystal, it's cheaper in Slovakia.
pumpernickel
lemme know if you eat these classics: goulash, schnitzels, dumplings with greasy gravy & cabbbage, short fat pancakes, etc.
