Why Sheena Will Have Bad Dreams Tonight
Watched "I Am Legend" on the flight over last night. Always a soft spot for the end of humanity as we know it genre.
Then I look at the building next door to my hotel in Dusseldorf and see this:

Not up the side of a building, but up the side of scaffolding... Worked as a 'local hire', on the Stones 'Steel Wheels' Tour (1989). About 1/2 hour before the show, the Head Roadie says to me: 'Let's go up for a look!'
I had to practically race, to be able to keep up with him...
It's a long way, to the top, if you wanna rock'n roll...
It was breathtaking...
creepy, although I think we need more public art in general around here.
Holy moly. I loved that movie, but what a funky coinkydink seeing those alien gumbies climbing the building across from you. Eeeek!
