sorry, but o/t:
I am heading to St-Augustine, FL in the first week of December. I need to research your archives for the restaurants et al that you wrote about....
what month of your archives will I find it in?
Oh cool! I was there on St. Patrick's day...
Here they are: Links
Seriously do the sangria stop... and try to get to the beach. Pretty and reasonably quiet.
Hey, I bet Sheena's "crazy baba" has some get-well recipes...
are those drinks helping?
No. But who cares.
i've had a similar sitiuation for the last 2 weeks, last night I couldn't hack it (sorry) anymore and took a hillbilly heroin tablet prescibed for another malady and slept like a Sitka for 14 hours, still feel great, kinda
Oh Fender. Why do you have to be so far away....
that's what I was looking for, Sheena. Thanks.
See, your travelogue is helping make people's lives better.
Here is one of Sheena's "crazy Baba's" recipe that works for her "crazy ant"
Cut up a lemon
Put pieces in a pitcher
Pour boiling water into pitcher
Stir and squish up the lemon pieces a bit
Pour in some honey - not too sweet - not too sour.
Drink either hot or let it cool down and keep it by your bedside all day and night. A lot of Vitamin C
The other Crazy Baba recipe is break open a raw egg on one side and guzzle it down. That one I could never do!
The hot lemonade one sounds very good. However, I have no lemons. I will have to wait until one of my male slaves does some groceries for me.
I forgot - you can keep topping up the hot water once the juice gets low. The lemon is good for a few fillups. I made a pitcher of this once and kept it at work on my desk - everytime I felt a cough coming on - it would help soothe it. One season of that crazy Toronto air gave me bronchitis for many years after when I moved back to the Peg.
Are you feeling any better yet, Sheena? Did you try a walk-in clinic?
Warm Get Well wishes, Sheena! Thank goodness you're not as deathly ill as you were two(?) years ago.
