I have almost 2,000 hours at the controls of the "Diesel 9" myself. Tough old bird, the DC-3 of the jet age. They'll still be flying when you and I are gone...
I watched the whole thing and not a single Canada goose got sucked into the engine.
That was kinda anti-climatic.

What a pretty night that was. colours in the sky pretty spectaclular. Was a big old huge giant red full moon, but I was on the wrong side of the plane.
