Waking the Jester - Harlequin CD Release Party

Friday June 1 at Silverados in Winnipeg. After weeks of toe-curling, girlie squealing anticipation, we rushed up to the stage and with the opening strains of Superstitious Feeling, our skins erupted into waves of goose bumps. Yes, it was Harlequin. Back at home, playing the old classics and the new fun stuff. I think sometimes people forget just how good these guys are and their contribution to the Canadian Classic Rock canon.

Superstitious Feeling:

Thinking of You:

Rise: New Song from the New CD

Survive (first hit, and joined on stage by one of the co-founders, Gary Golden on keyboards)

We all got new CDs and had them autographed by everyone in the band. And lamented the fact that Nick wouldn't come over to roll in the dandelions.

Sounds like you had a blast, Sheena. Wish I was Winnipegging with you! Color me Harlequin clueless, but I enjoyed your vids. Liked the new tune the best.

That'd be "colour" on the Harlequin side of the border. ;-)
